Carlton Hotel

Nice Hotel in Rugby. It appears to be more a B&B than business, British style rooms and furniture, rooms arranged in an hold building and in a new facility close to the main one. Anyway everything works, the staff is very kind and helpful, there is a fine restaurant and breakfast service. For any need you can contact the hotel staff, it will help to fix any eventual problem you have. Good stay for 1 week.

Very good value. Room clean with tea, coffee and biscuits supplied. Comfortable bed, compact ensuite (I was on top floor). Only negative are the stairs which are pretty steep. Access code on main door and key left on bed. Pub and restaurants close by. Curry Club Indian restaurant was friendly with excellent food.

Brilliant Hotel, close to city centre with everything within walking distance. Recently refurbished with comfortable beds. Good cooked breakfast in the morning, glad I didn't take on board other reviews, people do love a Moan!!

Victorian hotel that has been sympathetically refurbished and extended. The facilities are quite stylish, comfortable and have a good specification for the price. The slight downside is a cramped car park and steep stairs due to the age of the building, but plenty of parking is available nearby, and free overnight, and there are more accessible rooms off the courtyard if you have mobility issues.

Julie and her staff were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure our stay as a large group was as comfortable as it could be. The location is an easy 5 min walk to the centre of Rugby, beds are comfy, and everything works (what more do you need). Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel at this price point.

Brilliant Hotel! Had a lovely stay at the Carlton, centrally located so close to all amenities. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning and close to the train station so very convenient for us. We will definitely be back

Very clean room. English Breakfast is good and lot of food stalls nearby Room Size is small Staff are very friendly and cooperative, even at odd times. Had a very good stay for a while in there. They have a bar with very good drink. well connected to many places like, Railway & Super markets

Last minute booking as all the big name hotels were sold out or overpriced, really friendly staff, spoke on the phone before booking as I needed a VAT receipt for work, also was going to be a late check in as was travelling down in the evening from up north, was told how to get in using the pin code what room I was staying in and the VAT receipt was left in my room for me, had a comfortable nights sleep, room was clean and full of the essentials (tea, coffee, milk, sugar, soap, shower gel) Wi-Fi worked fine TV was large, nice area, all around a good hotel, a little bit dated but had everything you’ll need, and at less than half the price of your big name hotels
